For now, Internet sports betting and the various legal sports betting apps available to NJ residents are geo-fenced to only allow players to submit wagers within the state. New Jersey does currently have legal online sports betting in the state, but it is largely limited to a few brick-and-mortar venues, like various casinos in Atlantic City or the premises of the Meadowlands Sports Complex in East Rutherford.
